Private buses ply regularly from Visakhapatnam to Simhachalam. The inscriptions of the temple (about 525 in all) are indispensable for the study of history and culture of the region. This temple is situated about 20 Kms from The Park.

DOLPHIN NOSE: Is the most conspicuous and unforgettable landmark in Visakhapatnam about 25 Kms away from The Park. A single, massive 358 mts. Rock breaks the coastline and again juts into the sea resembling a dolphin. It is a permanent feature of the city's silhoutte!

RAMAKRISHNA BEACH : It's unique the first time you arrive here. In order to reach one has to descend sharply down the road and from the elevation it appears as if the sea is reaching up into the sky! It's indescribable and awesome. This is a very popular beach which derives its name from a temple of Lord Rama and Krishna. This sis about 2 Kms away from The park.

INDIRA GANDHI ZOOLOGICAL PARK :This is the second Zoological Park in the State after the one in Hyderabad. This zoo is the largest in terms of area with an encompassing area of 450 acres full of exotic species of animals and birds amidst rolling landscapes of natural habitat. Half of this wilderness has been allotted for the deer park. The other 300 types of specimens are allowed to roam freely in huge enclosures. There is a separate enclosure called the crocodile park.

BORRA CAVES: These natural formations in the Eastern Ghats are situated in Anantagiri mandal at a distance of 100 kms form Vizag. The caves have geological and historical importance. Deep in the caves there is a Shivalingam over which water drops from above, which is said to be the origin of the river Gosthani. The river flowing from these caves with natural rearing sounds is a beautiful sight to enjoy
